I have been enjoying the shit out of this. It makes a change to have a game outside of armed force simulations where you don't have to pump the enemy full of lead before they die (and the same goes for you!). One swift shot to the head and they're gone, or a shot to the kneecaps to disable them.

I've only been to 3 main places, Armadillo, MacFarlen's Ranch and Thieves Landing to far, so there's still a lot to see.

afaik there is neither denial nor confirmation yet. they just never said anything. I guess maybe down the road, after they released some DLC. let's hope somebody else will port it than the ones responsible for GTA4.

With all the kerfuffle about Ebert's denigration of games, I think it's interesting to read what the Observer's film critic Philip French (http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2010/may/23/red-dead-redemption-game-panel) writes about Red Dead Redemption. He's obviously not a gamer, but he takes the medium seriously enough to comment intelligently on the game from his own perspective, at least IMO.
