I'd rather watch paint dry than read any more of your blathering.

You are free to do so. In fact I suggest it because it might keep you off the internet for a few minutes.

Bully is a fantastic game. Gameplay and story-wise, it's aces and well-written with tongue firmly in cheek, but without any pathological cynicism to the proceedings. Plus it's just a joy to play and cause general havok in. Pulling that fire alarm switch never gets old.
Completely agree, I had way more fun with Bully than I did with GTAIV. The game just dripped with style, and the soundrack was sublime. Even though a lot of the game was highly repetitive with some pretty awful controls, it had a lot of flair about it, and some really memorable missions.

To be fair it is just GTA in the wild west, but nevertheless.

It's nothing as simple as that.
Wild West is a lot harder to do, it calls for devs to really go in and get the most mileage out of what is a rather striped down backdrop, though it does lend itself well to a sandbox type of design. You really gotta hustle and be creative to get fun out of lots of arid frontier land. So far the shooting is looking fine, and with good characters, a few good storylines, and enough nuance it could be the best wild west game yet.

Apparently RDR has had a long and troubled, 6 year development period - supposedly due largely to mismanagement. The game likely won't break even according to (

I hope that the game turns out great, the trailers and featurettes that they've released thus far paint a tantalising picture that makes my mouth water.

I have been waiting for a LONG time for a really solid Western game. The best I have ever played was GUN, RDR1 was 2nd, and Call of Juarez a distant 3rd. Dead Man's Hand was playable, but only just so.
Here's hoping I get the game I have been dreaming about for 10+ years when this ships! BTW, thanks for the link, Eva.
