Surprised no one has started a thread about this game yet. From what the gameplay (Total Destruction) video shows, it looks like they really came through on their promise to be able to destroy most anything.
Anyone else looking forward to this game like me? With the other good releases (can't recall which right now) in June, it looks like that's going to be a good month for gaming.

I will probably give this one a shot, loved the original Red Faction (I pretend RF2 never happened). Although the 3rd person view concerns me a bit, Dead Space and Splinter Cell have given me some TPS training.

Meh. Looks like your average console rail-shooter.

Well I donno. When it comes to this sort of gimmicks, I always end up feeling like, instead of "destroy EVERYTHING" it's more of a "destroy these few buildings which the devs specifically put there to give you an advantage / move the game forward." To illustrate this better, instead of going into a big urbanized city with a vague "get from point a to b" and being able to destroy any building on your way, it's always some shitty narrow ass canyon with an occasional destructible outpost or a building you must explode in order to move forward.
And the trailers seem to confirm that :/
