Hello fellow taffers, somehow i needed to register again to the site... i had an old account since 2004 if i remember correctly.

I want to start playing this again, however i see unofficial patches left and right. I have the game on steam, so i am going to start in the order of Thief 1 and then Thief 2. Can someone help me with it? I dont know anymore what patch or fix to use.

I like the graphic patch for both games. Thanks.

What mods you install is really a matter of personal choice.

Do you remember your original account name? I can see if it's still there.

I am going to install the games on steam, those are all patched up i think? I use windows 7 64bit, do i need to apply some patches for the movie fix which occurs on thief2?

I also plan to use the new graphical enhancement packs,

steam still uses DDFix for TG and T2, that means you will have to patch up.

Oke my account has been fixed, i have my original back :D thanks Nickie.

Now for the game part, i have downloaded Thief Gold and Thief 2 on my steam account. Now what....

Oke downloaded the stuff needed for Thief Gold, i have a question though.. it installs the Thief fixer on a default C:\Games\Thief\
But i have my thief gold installed on D:steam...etc.....

does that matter?

just point it to the game exe, that's all.
