IMPORTANT UPDATEIf you are updating from older versions - delete the books folder from my pack if it's present!! There is some non-understandable problem with fonts and palettes which UI don't know how to solve other that deleting books at all.
Thief Gold ESRGAN Texture Pack 1.4 (with fix to 1.42 version) Thief Gold upscaled textures using ESRGAN method with different models. Most of the textures correctly tiled by hand after the upscaling when tiling is present so there is mostly no edges between same textures.. To use with TFix mod installed with NewDark engine improvements. Textures are intended to use standalone with TFix or before the Enhancement Pack 2 for those textures, that weren't updated by EP2.
Textures were upscaled using manga109 and mymanga109 models plus my own two models trained exactly for Thief Gold. Plus dedither model. So I were provided with 8 different versions (dithered 4 models + dedithere 4 models), from which I choose the most best looking.
Also I created by hand illumination maps for all the lighted windows and glasses. You can see the result on the screenshots.

Thief Gold ESRGAN Texture Pack 1.4 EP1 addonEP1 addon pack was redone. Now it's universal and works on both Thief Gold and Thief 2. And there are two versions of the pack: authentical with some of the textures replaced with upscaled vanilla, and non-authentical with just upscaled EP1 textures.
EP1 is Enchancement Pack 1 - mod which comes with TFix and changes a lot of objects ingame. Changes are not always looks like original items, but mostly they are. Authentical texture update for EP1 is more vanilla looking with textures replaced with upscaled originals instead of modders vision.

Bonus:
Combined Thief Gold & Thief II HQ Paintings PackMost of the textures are 1024x1024 in size. Textures were completely made from internet images with corresponding art, used in Thief games. Except for 2 images that were taken from EP2 but slightly modified.
It's a HQ textures just for paintings which are retaining more vanilla look like in original games in size, gamma and saturation. EP1 and EP2 versions for some reason are quite different than of the original game. I tried to preserve the original game look.
Pack is for Thief Gold and Thief II. If you are installing it for Thief Gold - there will be redundant files for Thief 2 in folder, but it will not interfere with the game in any way. The same is for Thief II.
Installation is as always - just unpack into USERMODS folder, overwriting everything. Install it after ESRGAN textures.

Thief Gold ESRGAN Texture Pack 1.4 vanilla sky addonAddon with upscaled NSKY texture for those who don't use T2skies mod from TFix (I don't know why you would want such a downgrade) or using Sky Detail: Low settings. Sky is very strange in Thief, so I wouldn't recommend to play Thief without T2sky mod. And I will probably will not fix any issues with vanilla skies. Overwrite into USERMODS.

Also, for some unknown reason TFix include mod with textures from Thief 2. They are not better in quality, but differ a lot from the originals. I didn't used them in my work and they are overwrited by my mod.
