I think I heard of Alcohol 52 before. I've had a bad experience with daemon, but I'll give it another try later. :D
EDIT: One more thing. I assume that I'll still have to install whatever DRM protection is required to play, right? Or would such a situation not yield a successful result at all? Should I just use my Starforce-laden BiA: Earned in Blood cd as a shuriken?

I believe Windows started acting weird. The weirdness went away when I uninstalled. Was daemon supposed to come with a toolbar that locks to your taskbar?

It was either an older version or you forgot to uncheck it when you were installing Daemon tools. It also asks you to install a toolbar for your Firefox or IE and some other things, just skip all that.
