Brilliant mission, I've almost finished it, just having one little problem...
I can't seem to find Badd Cogs head. I've found all the other stuff, searched the level, but still no luck. Could anyone let me know where it is?

Thanks, SlyFoxx--
Wouldn't you know it was where I figured it should be, but missed it the other 2 times I looked for it? My eyesight must be failing fast!

Well after an incredibly aggravatingly difficult time with downloading this FM, I finally got it! :D
As many have said already, it's great!!
I think I might have found the easter egg....is it the 'nice guy' award?
Not quite finished playing, I still want to do a final run through and check various nooks and crannies, though all current objectives are checked 'cept for the potion of course.

Sorry, I thought I posted an answer a couple days ago, might've hit the wrong button
BaddCog's Skull

Fantastic!! :thumb: :laff: Just pulled an all nighter even though I had done a similar feat the previous night with Lord Alan's Fortress and had little sleep during the day. Couldn`t let it go, however, until I was hale and hearty again. And now ... I'll just keel over and have some zzzzzz's ... whoops got to feed my cats, Ciel and Soliel first. Thank you.

This is a great Fm! Just like every FM from Schwaa. There should be more around like this one. :thumb:

My Review:
Pros:
1) Creativity and Originality. This is one of the most creative FMs I've ever played through - you had great ideas, and you've implemented them well. This is not your ordinary break-into-the-manison-and-grab-that-artifact FM, but something far more interesting... Perfect for explorers like me.
2) Atmosphere, especially in the swamp. The entire place FEELS like a swamp - damp, dark and wet. One of the best atmospheres I've seen in an FM.
3) The story, which has quite a good consistancy and developed well during the FM.
Cons:
1) The frame rate. At the start it was horrible, later on it got a bit better, but this FM was overall choppy. I think this is because of the tall airbrushes in the forest area, but you get a bad framerate in less tall areas as well.
2) Some places just look empty, especially the tree city. Most tree-houses are alike, except for one or two with bones in them. The entire tree city seqeunce was pretty much empty.

.... The entire tree city seqeunce was pretty much empty. You are right, G'len. It's a great FM. Regarding your last comment on the tree city, it is true that most of the trees are empty, but there is a lot of stuff hidden in there. How much loot did you find in the tree city area? (see spoiler) How many secrets? How many trickster's gems? Did you find any extremely high lofts? If you find all these things, perhaps in ghost mode, then I think the game play in the tree city area takes on another dimension (mostly vertical and quite tense).:)
Loot - 530, secrets - 1, gems - 2, extremely high lofts needing 3-4 ropes to get to - 3, as I recall.
Once again, thank you for another Really Cool Mission! Great atmospherics, great architecture, great concept
Garrett as undead! I wouldn't have thought of that myself!
and I liked the Trickster gems! A really great mission! :thumb:
Now some review comments:
I could have finished the mission without coming here for help if I had a "hint" in-mission as to how the gems worked before I got to the Keeper's Caves. You have to use the 2nd gem (the sapphire?) to teleport to keeper-land and I literally was wondering what purpose they served and "where do I go next?". (Would you believed I hiked back to the "intake" from the Ruby teleporter, Used the Ruby, got the additional objective, but didn't figure it out because I didn't go anywhere?!) A message in the keeper caves/library is too late for figuring out how to use the rubies. (If there's a way other than using the rubies to get to the keeper caves, my apologies, but it wasn't obvious.)

Minor nit: I followed above directions for the secrets (I only found the BadCogg's Head Secret - again, great idea - a "Dragon's Loot Cave" - by myself) and found all of them except the "rope" secret that is NOT between the Keeper complex and its dock. I roped up to all the high areas in Tree-land (including the one near the slightly inclined tree just after a spiral stair) but did not get the secret. Where was it?
Again, awesome mission! :cheeky:

There are two other ways to get into the Keeper Compound. There's
a rock on an island in the swamp that moves with a lever and it leads you directly into the beginning of the Keeper caverns. There's a big treebeast stomping around on the island, which makes it more noticeable. You can also walk through the treecity to the far end where the ramps go down. Across from the dock, there's a gap between a tree and the swamp wall. Slip through there, walk along a bit and then turn right uphill. You'll end up at the end of the Keeper dock.
As for the secret, it IS
on the high tree platform that is fairly close to the spiral stairs. It's not very noticeable, though, so you may have been right by it and not seen it. There's a medallion sitting on a window ledge up there.
As for the gems and how to use them,
I thought the objective itself was a fairly good clue, since it tells you to find and use them, as soon as you've gotten one of them.
:)
