D'oh!
Re: Last secret
How much is that medallian in the window? :-) Yes, I was up there, I just didn't look in the window.
Re: Gems and the way "onward"
Actually, you're right, I knew about the "back way to the dock" by the time I ended the mission earlier. Naturally, the "rocky front door" to the caves was right where the map said it was, guarded by a treebeast. I tend not to look too closely when treebeasts are walking around. :-)
Thanks, got all the secrets now.

I have killed Thomas and put him on his bed and the objective "kill Thomas...." ticked off, but the first is still on and I can't take the potion of the Wizzard. I have also killed the dark skinned Pagan and put him in the grave(the objective ticked also off)Have someone an idea how I can end this mission?
Schwaa This is a very great mission And I have a lot of Fun playing it, but I H A T E Treebeasts!! When I atacked one of them with my sword, it was horrible when it turns around and killed me!:wot:

For the 8 Golden Keeper's Secrets: How do I find it? They said something about a library. The big keeper one? I can't find the book your supposed to frob! Where is it?
Nightwalker on 3/5/2003 at 13:23
Upstairs, in the area where you find the hallway down to the bedrooms, there's a book on a bookcase you can frob and another bookcase slides back. Go through, then look for a lever to close the bookcase again. Walk along behind it and you'll find a little hidden room. The book is in there.
The best way to deal with them is to backstab or attempt a backstab. If you fail the backstab, then swing at him from behind. A few swings should make that bad boy settle down.

Yay! :D
I'm doing SOOOOOO much better now. I replayed it. I have found around 3-4 secrets now. I got the Keeper Nicholes secret, and found the trickster's ruby and saphire!!!!!

This FM seriously needs a walkthrough. There's such a high density of loop-arounds and multiple entranceways. Not a complaint mind you, but it's hard to describe where you are at any particular point.
I haven't read all the messages in this thread, so if my problem has been answered, my apologies in advance. Funny enough, I had no problem finding Badcog's skull, but I can't remember what to do with it. :) On the other hand, my immediate question does not relate to the skull, but the gold hammer. I "think" I found it (it's a hammer, and it's gold colored). but when I place it in the barrel of other hammer stuff, which is outdoors near a standing guard and a gate, along with a note talking about shipments, the objective doesn't tick off. Now either I don't have the stolen gold hammer, or that barrel full of other hammer stuff is NOT where I'm supposed to place it.
PS: Those tree-beasts scare me so much, I refuse to go back to that section. I'll have to turn all the lights on in my house or play it in daytime if I need to go back there. And with 0/5 secrets found, I fear the worst.

Clock,
Thanks for playin', I might do a walkthru sometime but I still haven't finished Crom's walkthru that I started over a year ago so don't count on it.
BaddCog's Skull
Goes onto his body, its in a cave with zombies
Secrets
There aren't any Treebeasts in the general vacinity of the secrets (well, one's close...)
Gold Hammer
Look around the back entrance of the caves by the Dock, the hammer is actually named "Stolen Gold Hammer"
Thanks for the hints. I've got many more questions but I'm going to try to muddle through before resorting to this venue.
Crom's walkthrough? I'm sure I played this one, but I'll have to go back and check. I like your style and it would be interesting to compare the similarites.

Ok...the gold hammer issue has been settled....I didn't have the proper gold hammer to start with. Pretty sneaky where you placed it.
