I didn't know you wanted a spoiler. Check your email for a screenshot, because it's a bit hard to find. :)

Ah, thank you.:)

Dew Drop is a magical, mystical creature
Dew Drop doesn't like Hammers
Dew Drop does not want to stop playing now.
Dew Drop wants to stay and play some more.
Dew Drop is getting unhappy...you wouldn't like Dew Drop when Dew Drop gets unhappy...

Originally posted by Nightwalker If I recall correctly, there are two different things you can read to get that objective to tick off.
There's a book sitting on a table in one of the rooms in the compound. Sort of a small dining area, I think. There's also something tucked down behind one of the beds in a room upstairs, where you'll also find a switch. I think that ticks it off as well.
I haven't played the final version yet (I'm bad for that, when I've betatested a mission, so I hope this didn't get changed, but I doubt that it did.@nightwalker (maybe schwaa too),
sorry to bug on such a rather 'old' topic - but i think at least belonging to the final version you're wrong -
the small dining area you refer to contains two books - one about 'apebeast dangers' and another one about the reprogrammed bot and their hidden water arrows - no hints about anything to do with objective #1 ?!
i ran into the same problem - i guess thats a drawback of 'open-ended' missions like L4D - designing them 'fool-proof' for taffers doing things their own ways and finishing tasks in random orders?
anyway thanks for that mission !!!

Hey guys, thanks.
It's actually "Gumdrop" the doll in this mission. While doing the mission I got "Gumdrop"
(at Eidos" mixed up with "Dewdrop" (see his sig) and misnamed it, oh well, no prob dropping Gums' name, he's cool. No stims just a secret area to take it to.
The book in "dining area" by small library and book in bedroom will trigger same objective. Basically tell you who did it.
lovethief on 5/8/2003 at 11:01
@schwaa
at me it only triggered a new objective (so it was all thomas... kill him...) - yet the first objective (find out who...) isn't checked off. read note in the bedroom - yet I'm unsure about the book in the 'dining area' by the small library you refer.
in the room with the wooden stair ramp where that keeperete is patrolling i find two books - one about 'apebeast dangers' and another one about the reprogrammed bot and their hidden water arrows - no hints about anything to do with objective #1 ?!
but you state the objectives are triggered by both 'read-events' - so it must be some kinda bug preventing fininshing the mission.

The thing that's driving me up the wall right now is...
What's the significance, if any, of the "breathing through a hose" sound in the eyeball cave?
I also haven't figured out how to
open the cache in the eyeball cave
but I figure I'm just blind. ;)
Nightwalker on 15/9/2003 at 12:10
krenn -
There's no hidden cache in the eyeball cave. Look for a skull in the water. It's the key to another stash someplace else. There's also a torc lying in the water near the skull, though it's kind of hard to see.
Schwaa2 on 17/9/2003 at 19:31
That sound is the ambient sound taht the eyeball plants make :)

Ok, how do I
catch one of these buggers? I end up getting stung each time...
Fun mission!
