Child of Karras
Find out where you are on your map and just carry on walking towards the unexplored areas on the map. The gems are use for quick travel in the game teleporting you to various areas.

I thought it was a dead end! :p
And are the gems suppose to diseappear after you used them?
rb47 on 23/3/2003 at 13:51
No you can use the gems as many times as you like.

You were right Schwaa, it's at least on the same level as Crom's Blade.:thumb:
C'mon, do you know how depressing it is to work on a mission and then play things like this? It's absolutely discouraging, schwaa! I wish people would stop making such beautiful levels, how can we keep on dromeding when there are missions like that around? Do you want us all to jump from Angelwatch or what??? ;)
The level is unbelievably detailed and it's fun to explore, I've been literally walking around some areas and I didn't even notice them...
At first, the mission was very choppy (I got about 2.5 fps:nono:) but then it was suddenly OK for some reason...
I'm almost finished now, I just have to give the pagan a lesson and drink the potion. The only objective I couldn't tick off is the optional messing up the trade ring. I already found the "stolen gold hammer" but I don't know where to place it? I figured it's the rooms with the letter that all the hammers should be moved but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Also, where's the Cave of Dead (or Death?), so that I could use your head, schwaa?:p
Trickster was behaving kinda funny - at first, he just escaped, then he tried to kill me and finally, when I gassed him, he ran to the room with the gem as if nothing had happened, there he fell on the floor, stood up again and walked to the gem.
The voice-acting was very nice and I liked the 404 error as well... oh, and the lockpicks and headless Garrett...:laff:

Thanks Preno,
Take a look at JailBreak :p Practice deffinately helps, and not having a real life...
I guess I should've included a reboot, close all programs before playing, although the framerate seemed fairly decent to me. A couple other people have mentioned choppiness which was cured when playing on a fresh reboot and all progs closed from the task bar.
Stolen Golden Hammer
There's a barrell full of Mech goods by the west entrance (big gate) of the compound. Drop it on the barrell.
That damn trickster :nono:

Finished the mission, stats say 1414 loot out of 3229, 0/5 secrets.:o
Where are all the secrets? I must have missed half of the mission!
Schwaa2 on 23/3/2003 at 21:33
Hints to find secrets, I shouldn't do this but...
Rope arrow alot, if you can see it you can get to it :) You'll find 2 this way.
Dead Caves
Do some swimming in the compound, a cave room with two porticulus' don't go thru the pipe but the other way (east)
Also swimming by the red tornado effects in the forest
in the library
That's five, they help get loot too.

Hmmm, I've found only one area I just can't seem to get to...the
super-high tree platforms. I managed to get to one, I found a slow-fall potion and some loot, and I saw a gas arrow way over on another platform, but I can't figure out how to get there. Maybe a hint on the best way to do it?
:D
rb47 on 23/3/2003 at 22:07
Possible spoiler - I used rope arrows to get up to the super high platforms, it's even possible to get your rope arrows back from the climb.
Schwaa on the platform where the medallion is, i got down by sliding down the angled tree next to the platform was this 'feature' consciously put in there for that purpose?
