Loom is moving, haunting and wonderful.
It's also so easy that even a halfwit like me could finish it in a few hours. But i still love it.

The things I really miss were the original 8 Ultima games. Sure, there are things out there like xu4 and Exult, but there was just something about playing them in their pristine, as-God-intended state. That and Vibrate, the Second Best Spell In Any Game Ever.

The greatest in my memory is ZZGO, the Dream Spell, for Bard's Tale 2.

The best one was from Legend / Four Crystals of Trazere:

Sorry, but I have to vote 'Blade Runner' for My Favorite Adv. Game.
Damn fine game, of course. But let's just say I was telegraphing other people's opinions with that little story I tacked on there. We're nothing if not a wildly dissenting bunch, individually and otherwise. :D

Awesome game. Even better when I found the version with voices (though Scumm likes to run them out of sync with the action). That's one of those games that deserved a sequel and never got it.

Absolutely. Brian's a brilliant writer, and I enjoyed playing Trinity from his Infocom days as well. That was another eye-opening experience.
Anyway, it appears he'd planned two sequels to Loom, but according to interviews linked from the Wiki, no one was really interested in doing them at the time.
