I could not find this at the Object Repository... does anyone have the zip of Jason's rope spool?

Thank you very much! :)
Edit: Actually that zip is already at the Object Repository. I was thinking there was an object with a rope on a spool like on a winch. I'm not sure if that object exists but if not I can try to make one.

Here's one I made earlier.

Awesome! Thank you NV! :)

Do you have a brief explanation of the setup for getting the rope top deploy and bucket lower with the winch?

I'm afraid it's pre-NVScript, so it's an insanely complex system built with S&Rs.
The basic parts are a rotate tweq on the winch to turn, a scale tweq on the rope to get larger/smaller as it winds/unwinds, a special rope full of receptrons to set its size to different lengths, a metaproperty each for up and down which sends a scaling area stim to hit the rope and tell it which size it should be, and a small explosion created next to the rope to wake up its physics and make it shake a little.
Edit: See (

I wondered. I couldn't think off hand of any NVScripts which would help. I'l look at the demo. Thanks.

I was stumped while looking at the video too until I figured out it had essentially two main moving parts: the winch connected to the rod, and the rope with changing length connected to the bucket. Though I'm not sure how exactly to set it up in game yet.

Dev_Ang there are a lot of receptions that need to be added to both objects. Have you looked at the demo in dromed?
