Publisher of Russian version says on its official site the world-wide release of the game is set on September, 18. Hurray.
I think the info is trustworthy.

BTW, you don't need a specific hardware/software to run the test.
Graphics are ace, and very smooth too :thumb:

One thing I can say about all these recent console ports is that they run flawlessly, even when you don't think your hardware is up to snuff.
Take The Witcher, a game I've been playing through recently. I top out at 25-30 FPS at 1280x720 on average with that game. Beautiful as it is, it isn't pushing the graphics and physics envelope nearly as much as RE5 does, which averaged 52 FPS, DX10 at 1920x1080 with all the bells and whistles on.
The same thing applies to another console port I played: Dead Space. From the screenshots and videos I saw, I thought it'd chug along almost unplayable on my machine. Surprisingly, from beginning to end, I never once saw it drop below 45 FPS.
I think it's kinda sad that the damn ports are getting to be better suited for the PC than the actual PC exclusive titles nowadays.

It's because they're all optimized for the 360, and the 360 is basically slightly-outdated PC hardware on its side.

I'd imagine that since they have to optimize for a relatively-old piece of hardware, they put a lot of work into it and the result is that unlike some PC games (Crysis), it runs well.
I'm very pleased with 65FPS average at 1280x1024 with 2xAA.

Tell me about it. Eg ArmA 2 has dreadful optimisation, even worse than how Crysis was upon release. Cryostasis is also horribly optimised.

Yes and no. This was true of the Xbox 1, that used a x86 architecture CPU, some Celeron mobile IIRC. Is closer to old school Macs, having a CPU derived from both PowerPC and IBM Cell architecture (yes, the PS3's CPU).
But the GPU on the other hand is most definitely based on PC tech. The Xenon is somewhere inbetween a Radeon x1800pro and a HD2900XT.

Console games tend to have much higher sales and larger budgets, plus their targeted at systems with GPU equivalent to two generation old PC hardware. They tend to be graphically well optimized.
If the CPU is a limiting factor though...well, they fuck it up badly.
