I found them all scary, RE4 too. It's due to the fact I couldn't quickload/quicksave and had to be always on the look-out, Pro mode in RE4 helped too because it was definitely harder than RE2/3/CV. Not that scary as any SH, but quite unnerving and eerie, for me at least it wasn't a good idea to play RE4 alone, at night. Also, RE4 includes the best boss fights I have found in any game so far - much more challenging and varied than boss fights in previous REs, but doable even with knife if you're insistent enough.

I've tried the Japanese account I'd created to get the Armored Core 4 For Answer demo, but when I checked it was for Gold members only. :(
