Not surprising at all, considering that other games using the same engine are already on PC - Lost Planet and DMC4. The port will probably also be decent this time, unlike the disaster that was RE4 for PC.

Well, after the official patch, G-Cube textures and mouse support mods, the game looked better than PS2 version.

The Wii version followed by the Gamecube original are still the best.

Eh, you know, given Capcom's track record on giving people actually playing on the PC the finger, I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm waiting on Street Fighter IV first, if they deliver it to PC title, then maybe RE5 pc is true.

If there's a simultaneous release with the console versions of RE5, then I hope that they implement cross-platform online co-op with the 360 version. Then I could play with all my Xbox-owning buddies without having to buy the inferior version. RE5 is one of those games that would benefit greatly from mouse control.

Eh, you think? I remember the wii version of RE4, and while it absolutely controlled better, like all RE's the game was made expecting bad controls. Thus, it became very very easy.

You'd be expecting too much if you wanted the difficulty rebalanced.
