That Thief: The Making of Thief 2 is an awesome vid. Truly a story about a Studio who cared more about their games than their pockets. (Duh...)

Thief in English would not be the same game w/out some returning actors. New blood would be welcome, too. Deadly Shadows voice worked stomped mud-holes in the original games, and they should continue that tradition.

I haven't heard the French ones a lot (only Karras AFAIK) but the German synchronisation was so good that even the I-always-buy-the-English-version guys (comparable to the don't-use-any-Microsoft-products kind of men) preferred it. Honestly, I think the TDP Garrett sounds even better in German because he's younger and a little more fierce/strained than the detached Mr Russel who sounds too old also (or at least too close to the mic).

I think Mr. Russel sounds exactly like Garrett should sound. Has that nice, tired feel to it, which I think is very important for a bitter, world weary thief.

What I didn't say, but thought of when I posted that, was that he may be more expensive to hire, now.:sly:
It would be awesome if we found out he wanted to do it at his regular rate, compensating for inflation.:laff: After the huge amount of work he did for TDS, he may be burnt ou--DON'T DARE SAY THAT!

But for a boy with a few years of Keeper training he's simply too old. :p I think he could sound world-weary AND younger.
