Have you seen the Thief 3 concept art? He looks trashed and worn!
Smoggy City, too! Plus, he's up on them roofs with all them chimneys and smoke stacks, and can't stay outta Hammery factories and sewers 'n' stuff.

Garrett without Russell is....well me.:p Got to get the man back behind the mic. This is serious business!
I've had a fun time doing voices for FM's. I've lost count of all the work I've done. I still play missions and my voice pops up and I say...whao...forgot about that bit!
I got an e-mail from frobber a few years back. He told me the main reason his campaign got finished was the final Garrett voice soliloquy where Garrett leaves the message to the mortician about the death of his daughter. I had received the whole script for the campaign years earlier and sent him CDs in the mail with my progress every few months for a year or so. He was getting burnt-out from the work but my voice work provided the impulse to keep going and finish the series. It was my first work for the community but I still take great pride in the fact that it helped frobber finish one of the greatest fan works in Thief history. (BTW the take he used was round about take 25-30 with a tiny edit...I knew I had to nail it or all would be for naught.)

your Garrett from the very beginning. In fact, it's probably a good thing you live so far away; otherwise I'd be tempted to kidnap you at swordpoint and make you talk to me in your Garrett-voice every day. ;)
