Ach! Damn! - Yes of course I meant RBJ. And one cannot change a thread title...
Edit the OP, the title is in a separate box just above the body of the post and can be changed there.

And CCCToad is obviously a big fan of the Civilian Conservation Corps. Which means he's a socialist. Which means he's a commie. And we all know how obnoxious they can be.
Commie? As much fun as communists are, I'm not one of them. I'm just insane.

Frankly, why the heck hasn't one of you put the other on IGNORE already?
And well, I am willing to ignore him. For me he serves two purposes: his lectures are somewhat instructive, and his nerd rage is quite amusing. Still, his rages are pretty much played out so I'm willing to not initiate any engagements with him. That said he should learn not to take my rants against Wall Street personally. I have reasons to hate them that I have no intention of revealing on here, and that pre-date any interaction I've had with him.

It shows you have no idea if you think RBJ is raging in anyway.

Thanks for the tips, Matthew and raph, but if I fix it now then some of the better comments won't make a blind bit of sense.
I should probably not post before noon, given my record on form and content.

It's because the ignore function is the coward's option. No matter how vexing I find someone, I've never used it and I never will.
Besides that: RBJ enjoys debating and, in particular, debates that are quite personal. He excels at them, and over the last ten or so years there have been many occasions in which he's incited more and more frenzied attacks from his opposition and beaten them back down time and again. It made people uncomfortable then (and obviously still does now), but it's very instructive when it's on a worthwhile topic. The repetitive "but you're a JERK" cycle in the early 2000s wasn't a fun phase for anybody.
Toad, on the other hand, survives by occasionally hitting a note or two that makes sense, but otherwise just horribly misapplies a whole bunch of material along the way. It's easy to spot by anybody that's bullshitted their way out of an argument before; obviously when you are unfortunate enough to run into an expert you just look like a moron. The last-ditch troll defence doesn't work when you've invested a significant amount of time, either. If you don't know what nerd-rage is, you have no business debating high level topics.

In other words it's high time we officially fill Strontium Dog's empty chair with CCCToad.

I'm sorry but that's only ok for a few spats here and there. When it starts happening every single time and propagates and derails every thread with the slightest hint of debate in it, it's the sensible thing to do. I for one am tired of their constant bickering, as entertaining as it sometimes was, that time has long passed.
Coward or not, I say nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

My life got a lot less stressful when I put a certain GenGaming user on ignore. It's fantastic. He's the only one I nuked though, except for some random spammer.
