None of the things you mentioned led to a reduction in the overall demand for labor.

Personal computers & computer networks have already reduced the market for secretarial labor, but led to huge increases in the productivity of most workers, including secretaries. If an AI or expert system can be developed to perform additional secretarial functions using fewer resources, that just frees up resources to be used more productively elsewhere. Think about the reason for having office secretaries in the first place. Basically, they exist to enhance the productivity of knowledge workers by offloading lower value tasks. As you automate secretarial functions, starting with the lowest value tasks, the secretaries have more time to concentrate on higher value tasks and offload more from the knowledge workers. Productivity rises overall.
