attempts to crush things that WOULD make jobs, such as the recent pipeline that you may have heard of.....
Er...as far as I can tell, that particular pipeline was actually 'killed' by the Republicans who attempted to force Obama to snap decision for political reasons. Also, looks like they're still quite welcome to re-apply after rerouting their pipeline so it's not going through a wildlife refuge.

Granted, it WAS pushed forward for political reasons, but that doesn't change the fact that a job-creating project was blocked by Obama. It's apparent that his priorities aren't in the US economy, and that is why he should not be re-elected. At the moment, we need a president who knows how to fix the economy, not an idealistic puppet.

Oh please. The blame on that project being put into torpor rests entirely on the republican party, who in their typical fashion refused to attempt to find any sort of middle ground on legitimate environmental concerns, pushed it forward and attached an arbitrary deadline to it.
This was done entirely knowing that it was politically untenable for the president to OK a plan that was an outright "Fuck You" to both environmentalist anyone with reasonable concerns about having their local aquifers contaminated with oil.
They knew what was going to happen. They did so anyway because forcing Obama to kill it for environmental concerns was more politically valuable to them then trying to work with the man, correct the issues with the plan and getting the thing built. "Obama and the Republican party worked together to get a pipeline built" isn't anywhere near as profitable for the republicans as "Obama blocks job creating pipeline" or "Obama allows environment destroying pipeline" would be.
Face it - that 'job creating pipeline' was sacrificed by the Republicans on the altar of politics. They happily sacrificed those jobs that could've been created if they worked with president to get to an environmentally reasonable plan for that pipeline, because it gave them something else with which to demonize Obama.
Put your anger in the right place.

Hm. I'll grant you that one. Good point.
Overall, however, I still hold to my assertion that Obama is NOT the man that we want as our next president. His track record, policies, and intentions do not mesh with what is necessary for the United States' economy to improve.
