I haven't seen anyone post about this yet. How many here have also seen The Shining? If you have, you can recreate one of the scenes just for kicks. If you go behind the house, you can find an axe in the logs by the back door. Since you can hack open the doors, you can break open the back door, or any door for that matter, and scream, "HERE'S JOHNNY!" I do that every time. :cheeky:

Dead by Dawn is just the subtitle for Evil Dead 2, silly :D .

Well, actually that was my fault, since I forgot to include the treebeast models in the archives I sent for you to betatest.
So even if they had come indoors you wouldn't have seen them. Oops... :erm:

I could've sworn I did see the treebeasts in one of the later beta versions. Just not the first. I remember it well . . . sound of treebeasts coming after me, but could I see them? :eek:

The mission felt absolutely gorgeous, it really did. It had the kind, ah, shall we say a twisted sense of humor I really really like. Too bad the frame rate got so bad I never got any further than the living room :ebil:.[SPOILER] I managed to blackjack the hand, though.[/SPOILER] It went nicely belly up.

I've never designed a level so I'm definitely no expert but it seems there's a similar thing going on here than with the Truart murder mission in the original Thief 2: if you wake up a certain guard, the framerate gets really really bad? Here I guess it's the book script that triggers it, at least that's what happened to me (and I got the new scripts for All torc just two weeks ago).

Um, oh dear :erm: , would it be possible for you to edit the level so that there is no apparition and no voice file, just the usual old frob-the-book-and-read-it and you get a new set of objectives? Please don't kill me...I'd just really like to finish this mission. I'm probably begging to be shot...
