Okay, I downloaded the fixed version and managed to play it through. I still had the framerate problem and didn't meet the loot objective. But it was fun :ebil: (I found the first page just out of sheer dumb luck :angel: )
And gulp, Troutpack, I deserve to be shot ... kuula kalloon vaan ... :o It isn't the book that caused all the problems, my frame rate now started slowing down already when I entered the bedroom (oh, BTW, I used the backdoor) so maybe I triggered something on my way to the cabin (scream? eyes? something in the shed? waterpump?).

Well , I've used the new gen.osm file and tried the new version to no avail . The framerate problem is still the same , but workable . The key simply will not spawn , which is a damn shame because this is a really innovative mission that I would love to play to it's conclusion . Does anyone have a save game file just after the key spawns ?

I got the key from the bathroom, but I cant open the basement door with it!
Which key actually opens the basement door? The key next to the body in the bathroom doesnt! :eek:

its driving me insane! i installed the fixed version but it only improved by a slight! could uninstalling t2x help?

Some people I think. But not me it did nothing for me. T2X or not. The frame rate did not improve.

That threw me at first as well. You have to make sure you are using it on the padlock next to the trapdoor and not the trapdoor itself.

The framerate got me once or twice, inside the house, is this engine capable of using portals?
If so probably something is missing, like a portal transition?
BTW after I got the infamous book I cannot get out of the woods, help?

I have the latest version and all the right scripts. but the frame rate is killing me. I will wait for a playable version if one ever comes out. No offense intended, but its unplayable for me.
