I just finished playing the mission and it's really a gorgeous little mission! Very, very spooky and full of really nice details and effects. :thumb:
I had framerate problems after poking around in the basement for a bit the first time through when playing on the easiest setting but not when I replayed on Expert (which I couldn't finish as I could only find 545g. in loot, as I believe other people have mentioned). The only thing I saw that was really different was that the first time, the hand got stuck under the sofa. The second time, I destroyed it.

After having other FM's screw up I figured my T2 install was corrupted by T2X . Having done a complete reinstall , this mission works fine with the exception of the framerate problem . Thanks Troutpack . :thumb:

As I described above, both of these problems were fixed for me by installing the latest bug-fix scripts. Then you have to go back to a save game before you enter the house or restart. The missing loot, for me at least, was two items
on the bookcase over the desk that cannot be frobbed unless the latest scripts are installed.

If the latest scripts version are the ones on Jason's site, then I have them installed. Weird! I'll try reinstalling them anyways because that's the loot that I can't get to highlight. Everything else worked properly, though, as far as I can tell from this thread anyway.

Take a look at the ZIP file name posted above and copied to the first post in this thread. It has bug-fix in the name. Make sure you have that version. I messed up the first time by downloading the latest ZIP file but not installing it - something you can check by looking at the files within the ZIP.

Reinstalling the scripts did the trick. I don't know if I had an older version installed on this computer or what but with the new ones installed, everything worked, all the loot was frobbable and I had no framerate problems at all. Excellent! :thumb:

excellent, excellent! :thumb:
I've seen those movies a couple times each, and this was too good to pass up!
I didn't "read" the pages immediately, and ran out the back door... I was confused for a while until I figured out what I had missed. Great effect!
I had something similar cooking for Monty Python's Holy Grail, but since I suck at dromed, it never made it past a sketch page. Anyone interested?
As for framerate, it dropped terribly in the living room and the kitchen for me; everywhere else seemed fine.

This mission looks well-made, etc. I look forward to playing it.
As for the shotgun, I was looking forward to a Duke Nukem-style zombie massacre. :(

I played this mission and enjoyed it, although the frame rate was nasty!!! I finished it, the atmosphere was right, quite spooky. I couldn't fully focus on the mission due to the fraem rate issue. The ending surprised me, that was fun. Congrats overall, too bad for the bugs, it partly spoiled the fun...
