The lantern works like the flares in Thief 2. As for the shotgun, how the hell could you afford it? It's basically just a joke, you're not supposed to be able to use it (although it'd be cool if you could).
and i SO wanted the G man to be able to use Ash's BOOMSTICK! :p
(after all, uncommenting and adding a 0 to thiefs cnfg file made it ezily affordable!)
i bet you will go and p tease me with an unusable CHAINSAW in the sequel wont you!
(tho i don't see why THAT could'nt be usable! G lost an eye and got a Hammer made replacement - why not the c saw for a hand!)
btw - dumped the lantern - not all that effective and kept me from instant battle readiness - not to mention keeping me lit up like a times square xmas tree!
EDIT:
$$%%^^(*&* did'nt have to wait for that sequel you meanie you!
reg horror fest in here! Freddie's glove!!!!!
short but oh so sweet tribute to the very best of the tongue-in-cheek horror films!
thanx for the refresher snack man!

In the future, please post less retardedly.

Nothing wrong with resurrecting threads, Garrett's Shadow, but I would like to see more readable posts too. In their current state they're not much of a gain to the forum.

Way too short, but still ridiculously fun! Great homage to what may be my favorite horror series ever! :thumb:

I understood Garrett's Shadows' post, and agree with his comments, (I so wanted to play with that chainsaw) might I suggest certain folk take things slightly less seriously?

I understood Garrett's Shadows' post...
See, that's the sort of thing it shouldn't even occur to people to say.

Enough! This sort of behaviour is NOT welcome here on the FM forum. If you want to insult each other, do it privately. Any other posts of this nature WILL be deleted.

Not bad for a horror FM. It seems to be a mix of the modern world with the past world. Seems like a bit of a time paradox if you ask me, but I don't mind it at all, it's pretty interesting. One thing that kinda annoyed me was the rocking chair; maybe its just the sound used for the rocking, but I wish I could smash that thing to bits with the axe! It was kinda annoying to keep hearing it over and over again. I'm not sure how exactly I also missed 2 major items in the bathroom, I guess maybe the night caused me to pay less attention. Also loved the voiceovers that Garrett does; it's nice to hear his voice on FM's. One hint I can give for hearing him is look on the walls in the living room for stuff to click in. You'll find it fast. Amazingly, I also managed to find all the loot inside in 1 run, which is incredibly rare.
The way I exited out was also a bit awkward; in the end, since the front door wouldn't open, I merely smashed the back door open and tried to work my way to the front of the house, only to be blocked by an invisible barrier on both sides! Turns out, you gotta reenter the house and go through the front. I liked the ending for its mindbending ways, but it confused me with all the knights clad in armor shouting, "Hail! Hail!". The ending took me by surprise.
Overall, not bad. Worth trying out.

You do realize this FM is based on (
