I announced a betatest. I got three betatesters. There's only so much you can with a small group of people like that.

Ok, I've got 545 loot and I've scoured every nook and cranny of the cabin for the missing 55. Any suggestions?
Have you searched every cupboard, box, shelf, drawer, table and on top of the piano? I suppose you already have the medallion?
If someone is suffering from low framerates, I have a new archive "ready".
Because my computer is currently slow as all hell, I have difficulty ascertaining whether or not the new version provides a speed boost or just adds new slowdowns.
If someone with low frame rates wants to test it send me a PM. If it indeed works, I'll upload to Thiefmissions.
If you don't want to download the whole archive, I can just send you the new .gam and .mis files.
Thank you and good night!

Well done Troutpack! Although I didn't understand anything of the spoken stuffI really love this mission. :)
I had to play it two times because I was missing the proper scripts, but it's working fine now and it seems that it's happening all it's supposed to happen. Anyway I'm stuck.
I had the key of the basement, I found all the pages and I killed the monster down there.
All the objectives are cheked, I should leave the house, but I can't because all the external door are locked.
May I have a little help? Thanks
Btw, does the hand come from Blood? :ebil:
As for the lag, I didn't have lag while I was playing the first time, but I started to have it as soon as I reloaded a savegame, but fortunately it vanished after a few seconds.
Again, a very well done mission, I expecially liked all the special effects and the new objects. :)
Update
I didn't see those
tree beasts outside the window. Anyway, I can't hurt them and they don't hurt me, but I can't get out of the window. I don't have any fire arrow left, what can I do?

I think I am right when I say that when I find the book on the pillows in the bedroom something should happen and I should find the key in the bathroom
I got your e-mail with the new gen.osm and still when I find the bedroom book nothing happens. Mabey you can make a version where the basement isnt locked. I relly want to play this.I am a HUGE fan of the Evil Dead Movies. Except Army of Darkness was kind of dumb. :(
I have tried reinstalling the custom scripts and the gen file several times and tried both versions of the map and still nothing when I find the book. I get the Bobby Joe scream in the woods and the Join Us evil eyes in front of the cabin and still nothing.

As far as I can tell, yes. Frobbed my way through the cabin multiple times.

Actually, just something I remember from the beta version . . . you know the desk in the front room, which has a bookcase just above it? There used to be loot in that bookcase; and as far as I can tell, one of the loot items is still there, you just can't frob it anymore. I came up with the same loot total as you, so . . . :erm: not much help, but just thought I'd mention it.

The hand freaked me out! :D Ended up blasting my own feet with a firearrow to get it. Great job, troutpack! :thumb:
I also loved Henrietta in the basement. "Someone's in my fruit cellar!"
Felt bad about having to off Ash, though. :(
Awesome job on the sounds. I'll definitely be playing this one again soon.
