wow...I wish Salisbury Cathedral still looked like that today.....now its all built up around it...shame.
I think the spire is crooked....I seem to remember thinking that, as I was going around the ring road, past it, the other day.......and it had scaffolding all over it not long ago too....just some useless info.
JC - if you think that's crooked, take a look at the spire in the town where I live! :D (

The quotes scroll:
M16B66
That is defined in the hierarchy rather than on a specific object, so the text isn't referenced in the mission itself. Since it's in the hierarchy, it does show up in dark.gam
Quote:
The three variations linked to "Papyrus (508)" listing Cavador's patrol route:
M15B01
M15B02
M15B03
None of those exact strings are used on the scroll. The scroll has "m15b" and a variable (1 - 3) is used to define which file to load.
To show everything that might be a book, use the following commands in Dromed:
hilight_by_prop book (note: there is no _direct this time)
hilight_render 1
All objects that have the book property will be hilighted, and everything else will be hidden. You can go through them all and see what's what.

Yeah. That's the other main method I've been using since NV clued me in. But you didn't know that, so thanks for sharing that info.
I used the "converation" property to index all the conversations, and again, I found so many unused waves.
Hmmm.... I'll have a look at the hierarchy again.

Crikey! That's over my head...:D
I see the "QuoteList (-6575)" in the general Object Hierarchy, but not in the histogram or mission object list.
Searching for the object archetype yields nothing.
Searching the Thief 2 folder for "M16B66" yields inprog.cow.
Searching the Thief 2 folder for "QuoteList" yields inprog.cow and miss16.osm, but I wouldn't have known that was the name of it, 'cause I didn't know it was its own object rather than a generic scroll with links (thanks).
