Well, SC2 supposedly got pushed back because they want to try to make the new battle.net really, really good in the vain hope that it will stop people from being seriously angry about the hair-brained removal of LAN support.
Probably also because whatever else you can say about Blizzard, they take balancing their RTS games seriously and will happily delay it for months to keep tweaking.

I find it hilarious how all these games were due this fall, and then suddenly they all get pushed back 'cuz they were all crammed together? Except now they're all crammed into 2010. Smart.
The popular theory about that is that they're all afraid of being crushed by CoD:MW2.

mow2 will be another 5h single player campaign (according to press the main reason for ppl to buy it), can't see it taking away much time from a gamer (mp is just a copy of mw1 it seems). the only thing notable is the very high price, I think many ppl will have NO MONEY left for other games, not that they are lacking time :)

Christ, all you non German-speakers be glad, that was the most inane drivel I've ever heard. Game looks good though.

Looks very interesting and very "Gothic" like. We'll see how this game and Arcania turn up.

Hey, he finally shaved off that goofy ass goatee. GOOD JOB!
Well, since this is a different game from the Gothic series, the main hero isn't The Nameless One from the Gothic games.

I am thrilled!!! The gameplay looks great. Very atmospheric, and great lighting. Day 1 purchase.

Yeah, I know. I was just being
facetious.
And anyway, considering that PB gets the Gothic series back after 4, I'm willing to bet they'll have hooks in Risen to incorporate it back into their old series. Or, if the brand becomes too damaged due to a sucky Gothic 4, they'll take off in another direction and make it their new thing.

I wouldn't hold out too many hopes for anything 'Gothic' post Gothic 4. Jowood's setting everything up to transition to an IP it owns (ArcaniA or ArCAniA or whatever capitalisation they're using today) and most indications are that they're going to drop a large dead cow down the Gothic well before leaving it.
