I'm on the Robbing the Cradle mission (btw it's one scary mission) and I'm stuck at the part right after you use a toy and get put into the "past". I'm supposed to go the "Nursery" which took me a while to find, and I think I may have or may not have found it. I'm in a place called the "Nursery Tower", is that the same thing? And when I go inside it there is nothing but rubble in front of me which appears to be blocking something. I checked the FAQ and it said that the rubble should be GONE, but it's still there. Help?

You're in the part where you have to find the diary, right? Anyway, Nursery and Nursery Tower are different places. Nursery Tower is in the Inner Cradle, but if memory serves, the Nursery you need is the one in the Outer Cradle. The long room with the beds, remember? It's near the room with the letter and the apple.

I'll second that.

If the rubble is still there, you might have done something wrong and might not actually be in the past. Which toy did you use and where did you put it? In the past, everything will be green and it'll look like you're seeing it through a distorted lens, like a fisheye lens but not quite as...fishy? You'll then be able to go up the previously blocked stairs to the Nursery Tower, where you'll see lots of little beds, one of those creepy wall faces and a staffer (or two, depending on difficulty) patrolling.
I don't remember if it has a plaque or not, but the room with all the beds in the Outer Cradle is referred to in a magazine article on the Cradle (with many spoilers, natch. (
http://gillen.cream.org/thecradle.pdf)) as the Pauper's Ward, not a nursery, and the place you're supposed to go is definitely the Nursery Tower in Inner Cradle.

Poison Ivy says I need to go specifically to the Nursery and not the Nursery Tower, which the Nursery is in Outer Cradle. But you say I'm supposed to go to the Nursery Tower in the Inner Cradle. I'm confused and don't know where to go now.
btw no, I used the "candle" toy which I got from one of the patient's rooms and then use it down at the table in front of the furnace in the Morgue, which then I experienced some flashes. It still looks pretty much the same to me. No green fish eye view or anything.

It sounds like you might have been caught by the Staff, but Lauryl should have said that to you, and told you there were X number of toys left and not to break them all, etc. If I remember correctly, there's one flash when you go back to the past, but if you get caught after going into the past, there's more than one flash, and sometimes the Staff make a growling noise. The candle is a dicey choice because a Staff member patrols the morgue right around that table in front of the furnace. There are flashes when you get caught, so maybe the Staffer was behind you and you didn't see him. Getting caught sends you back to the present, so that may be why you aren't seeing the distorted view and the Nursery Tower (there's no Nursery, only Nursery Tower in Inner Cradle).
When I went to the past, I used the utensils from Cell 2 on that glowing placemat thing in the meal hall. Nobody caught me, but I was on Easy difficulty because I was scairt.

Looks like you didn't pay attention or read my original post.
I HAVE found the Nursery Tower, but there is nothing inside it. It's just a small rectangular room with a podium in the front and a paper on it and some rubble behind the podium.
And no, I'm not that stupid. There was no Staffer behind me that instantly took me back to the present when I went to the past.

Like I said, if there's rubble and no tower, you're not in the past and you need to try again. I was merely pointing out that it's possible to get caught unawares by the morgue staffer, not trying to insult anyone's intelligence.

Yes, sorry. A bit of ruffness.
Anyway mission complete. It wasn't THAT scary. I lost the creepy atmosphere as soon as I got annoyed by how intelligent the staffers are and how they annoyingly easily get you.
I'm about to start the last mission, already gone through the stressful gammal's lair and whatnot.
Btw, after I complete the last mission and basically complete the game, will the game totally end or will I still be able to sneak around? Because I want to know if this is my last chance before I start my last mission to enjoy the city walk around and sneak and steal. If it isn't, that would be cool if I could still walk around the city after the end of the game.

If you mean you did not play the Museum yet, but are about to enter, then yes, you can still explore the City after that. However, it will have some new enemies which will fight everyone on the street. You will also have the last objectives that need to be completed in the city, and not in a separate mission.
