You were supposed to demand a citation.
So, DaBeast - who are these "some researchers"?
Remember back when university feminist groups were protesting lectures and barring people from entering? Posting leaflets with comments taken out of context to gain support?
Edit: Janice Fiamengo and Dr Warren Farrel are the two examples I'm aware of.
I should clarify, I'm not a member of a Mens Rights group, I think both sides are full of idiots who don't want to listen.

I thought both sexes had roughly equal suicide rates by attempt, but guys were just more likely to choose a method with a high success rate.
(seems at least partially backed up by (

is wikipedia)
Pills or cutting across? NOT MANLY.
Guns, tall buildings or cutting
along? MANLY.
Suicidal impulses can be just that: impulses. If you're more likely to pick a method that works on impulse (guns, for instance) then...well, yeah. I seem to recall that the IDF reported a large reduction in suicides just by stopping troopers taking their guns home for the weekend: an extra bit of time to think things through (rather than just reaching for the gun that's like, right
there, dude) makes all the difference.
Could also be an issue of actually wanting to die vs wanting attention.
