You know, I THOUGHT that extinguishing the fire would be the solution, but nothing had happened. Thankfully, this forum exists. Now I know it was a bug. I went back a bit and replayed the level, this time putting out the fire first.
I thought the Wizarding room contained the Ankh Of Mishra. It does contain an annoying jumping ball, which has gotten loose. I hope this isn't a bad thing.
There is a book in the room next to the safe. In it are instructions.....I thought. I'll go back to that and have another go. On my way, I'll try to nab that jumping bean.
Where is the Ankh Of Mishra then. Does it involve a "Heavy Key" ?

The "Jumping bean" thing is just funny! :laff: You need to pick the sceptre and take it downstairs to the Library. The "Ankh" is in a case down there and the sceptre is the key to getting it out. :)

I got it now. Normally, that would be it. But I noticed, under Stats, that I missed 2 secrets.
Does anyone have a list of the secrets?

secrets - [SPOILER]#1 is the safe. #2 is down in the underground tunnels with the railway tracks. There is one spot that is marked "Unsafe" If you get past the trap, there is some loot at the far end. The 3rd secret is one that doesn't involve loot and is VERY hard to find. I really don't want to give it away, as it's a reward for some really tough exploring. If you can get into the Church, you'll find a clue, but getting in there is the tough part! :D[/SPOILER]

I figured the safe was one secret (still haven't managed to open it). I got the one in the caves. And I think I found the one in the church.......[SPOILER]There was a message saying to take the cup on top of the barrel. But I never found a barrel[/SPOILER]

That's the hardest part ? That was easy.
[SPOILER]I can't get back into the caves(The elevator door won't open), so I hope it isn't there. . But there is this large barrel in a room with two people snoring. It rests on a pedestal and lights up when you approach it. But it won't break apart nor move when I try to handle it. Am I looking for a large barrel, or a small one that can be picked up

Well...there we go. I spent so much time hacking away at that barrel or trying to move it, or destroying it with a fire arrow. I've now finished the level legitimatlly, including the safe. I just ignored the instructions, if thats what they were in that book beside the red book in the adjacent room. Did what you suggested and finally got the safe opened. A lot of work for little return:p

The third secret is using the empty goblet on the barrel in that room with the two sleeping persons on the top floor.
