I can't seem to get the orb (or eye - same thing)! I [SPOILER]put out the fire beneath the orb with a water arrow, but when I go back up there the force field still surrounds the eye. [/SPOILER]

There's a bug in this mission and that's it. I usually have to make sure that I put the fire in the furnace out BEFORE going into the area where you find the egg and the Orb or the field won't turn off. I've been told it's possible to still get it through the field, but I've never managed to do it myself. Do you have a save before you went through the gate into that section? It's worth a try if you do.

Thanks again NW! I believe I do have a save, but I might not go back and do all of that over again. I have accomplished everything else so I have actually finished this mission despite the bug. Fun mission! :thumb:

Here is what I tried to get the ankh...

I am having a terrible time getting through the manor. Who is this spoilsport who keeps relighting the torches after they are put out? How does one get rid of him? He refuses to be blackjacked.
