I agree, but it is an LCLite straight from the hierarchy and it is generating this warning. I am triggering it with a roombrush.

Is the sound of the LCLite working? I've worked with some LCLites a few months ago. The lights were triggered by a boundstrigger and I didn't get that onoffsound warning. You could look at Schizophrenica, object 272.

I got confused with the "not in geometry" bit, but if you want to test if you can hear anything near the ceiling just shoot an arrow at the ceiling.
If you check the monolog file just above the line where it says "can't play On/Off sounds" see if there is a line that says something like "blueon2" on A LCLite <obj num> coordinates is not in a room. If so then you know it is not actually in a room brush. That will give the same error you posted before. Try deleting the room brush and adding it again to make sure it encompasses the room from floor to ceiling and try again. :)

Have you tested the schema to see if that is the problem? In the command window type: play_schema blue_light_on then: halt_schemas then: play_schema blue_light_off
The 2 .wav files should be in Sfx folder in T2 original snd.crf, so you shouldn't have to have it in your Snd folder/Sfx.
The 2 .wav files are blueon1.wav and blueon2.wav
You can try to reload_schemas in the command window if you don't hear the blue light sounds in dromed command.
