I tried going to rockpapershotgun.com this morning, and instead of showing me a webpage, Firefox asked me to download an .gz archive. I didn't download it, obviously.
Not sure what this means.

Someone is playing with how the server sends pages to the user-agent (browser). They're Gzipping the page but not serving it correctly.
