DL often lists the name for a mission pack (left column) as the name of the last mission of that pack.

Yeah, glad to hear it wasn't just an exclusive bug on my machine. :p
Actually, I missed
several readables which I remembered from the "beta"version of
Mines of Margroth for
Thief 1. Some of them contained information which I considered essential, or at least important. I always wondered why those scrolls were completely missing in the
Thief 2 version of this mission.

You can easily sneak by them even on Expert. They are scary as hell, yes, but quite blind.
However, they provide good trainig for the other monsters down there. The ones in the "Merchants" area were fast as lightning and usually meant almost certain death.

Wow, is there a way to get this beta? I'd be glad to see it for Thief 1.

Well, I believe I managed to sneak by them easily for numerous times. It was much harder (for me - impossible) to aviod these short-height haunt-like creatures in the tombs - I was forced to smash them down, after which they spawned flying lightballs that attracted zombies to my position. That was frustrating but playable.
The dark burricks (those who see the player in the complete darkness) were the creatures who really annoyed me. And the invisible smoked demons on Ashes to Ashes scared the hell out of me, but when one figures out that it takes just a single fire arrow to put them to rest, it gets slightly easier.

Wow, I've had this mission in my grand archive for all these years and even didn't know about it! Big thanks for telling me about this beta.

Please, every link I find for some walkthrough seem to be broken.I am at the first mission. Trying to avoid my fate with all the undead creatures in the catacombs I went through the collapsed entrance where the headless mech. things are, passed the lava-ice area, got down the big well, and finally the route took me back to the lava-ice area.Have I to go through there again or is any other way to be back to the tombs area from the side I currently am?I am running out of health and rope arrows and try to save my gear for what comes ahead :cheeky:
So, if someone could provide me with a walkthrough or/and with SuperMan's powers?? :)

I have a copy of the walkthroughs for these missions in my files so I've emailed it to you.

OK i figured out the explosive door thing, basically there is an error in the map where if you place the explosive too close to the door, or onto the "door mat" in front of it, it wont blow open the door. You have to place it a bit into the hallway, then only will it explode the door. I must have blown up the explosive 10 times placing it in different spots near the door before finally trying to place it in the hallway.
And if you place it into the middle of the hallway, it also wont open the door. it will only work in a "sweet spot" which is pretty small.
