question & help needed from the walkthrough of Guilded Rivalry...

which one of the prisoners has the sword? i think its the one in blue, but i cant remove his sword from him; in the pic on the walkthrough page it looks like the one in green has a sword lying next to him, but not in my game.

On Expert you need to get:
The Guildsword
Zilfin watches over the Guildsword.
The Dagger of Chaos
Dagger of Chaos is in a place that would seem "chaotic place for it".
The Dagger of Greed
The Dagger of Greed is next to some drained corpses.
The Dagger of Power
Its should be lying next to dead thief, its not the sword, its the dagger...
The Dagger of Power (Expert Only) is the one you quoted.

Yeah, the music is cool! But I kept looking to see what that ticking sound was. I thought it was one of Terry's strange creatures come to get me.
I'm still waiting to hear some Staind in a fan mission though .... SUFFOCATE!!!!!!

heh... the first time through Guilded Rivalry, that music made me jump (when it goes to that really loud squeely whatever part)

I still laught hard with the AIs using my guildvoice2. He says as a random muttering "I'm making my lunch.." (From a scene in Wild at Heart) :cheeky:

Please take this not as criticism but as a plea for mercy. We love to play FMs, in fact we are absolutely addicted and spend many hours each day on them. The Thief games, with all the sneaking and alternate ways to solve problems are truly our favorite pastime. So far we have found your missions absolutely wonderful and we want to continue playing them but have come to a unsurmountable obstacle. Even with your help we could not get through the whirlwind area to get to the lab. Skipping it we got into the hall of mirrors and into the water tunnel where you need to grab a rope. Your walkthrough suggests walking and falling onto the rope. HOW do you do that? I spent well over an hour last night and that much time again this morning and just get swept by it. I gather this is essential to continue but it is simply impossible for me. Maybe I'm pixel challenged. Is there an alternate route to the transformer switches. If not, I guess I'll just have to miss out on the rest of this great mission pack.

That is not essential to continue, you just need to go there if you want to get all the loot and visit the armoury.
Just ignore the rope and let yourself be swept past.

if you hit the wrong picture first get ready to restart, look at walkthrough for the answer its so simple its crazy. although even when i beta tested it stumped me up for like 7 hours figuring it out till i get a major hint from ycatx. lol.

The portal you may have taken, going back may take you to a different room..
For example: If you press the flowery looking Nature one.. and see that your facing another flowery looking Nature one.. That one may not take you back, but take you forward..
Another thing:
The exit room and entrance room look EXACTLY the same, but watch you compass.. And FROB YOUR DOORS to make sure...[/SPOILER]

Most of my very hard parts are just extra loot...
To survive the water-cannon: [SPOILER]Just act exactly the way a leaf would. Go with the flow and try not to swim much and if you are mostly limp when you get shot out, you should grab the second rope fine (most of the time...). If you move around when getting shot out it will mess up your velocity and most likely miss the rope or splat.[/SPOILER]
