On Expert you need to get:
The Guildsword
Zilfin watches over the Guildsword. The Dagger of Chaos
Dagger of Chaos is in a place that would seem "chaotic place for it".The Dagger of Greed
The Dagger of Greed is next to some drained corpses. The Dagger of Power
Its should be lying next to dead thief, its not the sword, its the dagger...Holy mackeral! Even with the walkthrus these are some tough missions!
I have all completed on Mission 2 Guilded Rivalry (normal mode) except I can't find the Dagger of Chaos!. I searched thru the thread but cannot find a specific hint. Can someone please help me???
BTW awesome missions!

Check these places and report back.
Also what difficulty are you playing on?
-One of Zilfin's daggers is partially conceiled under some barrells near the kitchen and dining area. Have you found that one? This dagger is the easiest one to miss, I believe, since it is virtually in plain sight. Zilfin or a subcommander may have dropped it and it was unintentionally kicked around and swept under the barrells.
-Another is under/right next to body of his dead former vice commander
-One is in secret room behind the curtains in Zilfin's Chamber (I'm meaning the one with the dead women)
-The Guild Sword and another Dagger are both together (I think) in another secret "curtain room" with one of Zilfin's secret notebooks.
Those stick out the most in my mind.

Thank you metal dawn. Your memory is excellent. Found it hidden
behind the barrel.
Playing on normal.

Hey, here is a strange bug I've encountered in this mission.
On my way through the mission, I've picked up three out of four guildmaster's weapons (two daggers and 1 sword; one dagger remains to be picked up). I'm playing on the Expert difficulty. I can swear that I have three of them, and that three out of four 'pick a weapon' objectives were ticked Completed right after I got my third sword. However, after I played some time and checked the objectives screen, it told me that I had only two of four weapons, and I'm yet to pick up a sword, but I have ALREADY picked it up, and just half an hour ago my objectives list was correct! So it seems to me that there is some bug in the mission that mistakingly ticked one of the objectives to Incomplete at one point in the game. If I roll back at one of the previous save files, the objectives are correct. But at my current save point they are not.
Has that been encountered before by anyone? Is there a way to fix it? I really don't want to roll back an hour of gameplay because of this bug, especially that noone can guarantee me that the game won't rob me of the sword once again.

If someone's interested, I've replayed the last hour, and the objectives are fine this time. But I'm expecting it to go wrong every time I check the objectives screen.
Also, the mission seems to randomly crash sometimes. I believe it might be related to some AI behavior, but who knows.
Anyway, great mission. I enjoy it much more than Mines of Morgroth, due to the absense of some absurd puzzles.

I am losing my frikin mind trying to catch that frikin rope in the water after jumping into the red tower in the very frikin begining! Rapidly going from the kingdom of fun to the pit of aggravation!
I quit! Screw this! Utter bs! I am really really sorry - but I m really really tiked! Making something this hard is just ridiculous beyond belief! :nono:
(over 30 tries and just can't get on it!)
And it's a shame - cuz all in all it's a damn good campaign! But sh*t like that is just way too much, and brings it to a screeching halt! :tsktsk:

Yes, I remember that feeling.:tsktsk: I found the whole campaign to be
very hard, even on easiest difficulty level. I had to read the walkthrough several times, especially to understand the story behind all this. Really, a library full of explanations would have been an good idea with this mission pack.

I was only pulled through all this because I looked at the final movie (before seeing it in-game) - and definitely wanted to know how
that happened... In the end, playing the missions was worth all the pain... but only just worth it. For me, at least.
By the way, is there any
in-game explanation for all the stuff with the gods' and godesses' symbols near the beginning? For I never found any explanation other than the one presented in the walkthrough. And blindly frobbing pictures or symbols didn't get me far there.
