Hmm heh i return with another question, as I am stuck again, and this is not covered in the walkthrough:
Im at the end of guilded rivalry, i have gotten everything but the objective "find the 8 mystic stones" i cant complete. I found some of them in Bantar's lab, but otherwise i dont recall if or where i got any more. In any case i do not have all 8 and been looking around everywhere but cant find them. I even went into that place with the water tunnel where you must grab onto the rope in the water, explored everything in there and made it back out. So unless some of the stones are hidden in secret areas, i have no idea. Please someone can list the stones which are not in Bantar's lair and where they might be (approximately)? thanks.
Edit:
Nevermind, found it on another page: (

I actually did what coreyb2 describes there, using the blue coal on the fire, and apparently nothing happened or i didnt see any stones, so i quick loaded to not waste using a coal thing :/

I had trouble finding a couple, myself. Then I used the Gem of Oldorf, and its light highlighted the overlooked stones nicely.

Rule number one in Ruins of Originia: If things don't work, use the Gem of Oldorf. ;)

I'm playing YcatX's Mines mission set and I'm on level 2 right now. I'm stuck in the artwork room at the start. I seem to be going in circles! This is one crazy mission!:wot: but interesting! :thumb:

Finished Guilded Rivalry and I'm very impressed by it. This second mission isn't that large or overly difficult as MoM was, and therefore even more entertaining.
Once again highly original custom stuff, cool special effects and wonderful scenery. I was totally blown away :wot: when travelling these two areas: the deity area, with the burricks and hugh piles of earth, supported by some beautiful piece of music, and second the Frozen cavern. The Thieves' Guild appealed me less, due to too many of the same rooms and repetitive lockpicking. I was pleasantly surprised by the AI however, as it manages to spot open doors and douched torches. And unleashing the spiders brought some life to the place. Not many bizar new enemies, other then the ones present in MoM, make an appearance but that's hardly a complaint. GR delivers the player with more breath to explore the environments and scout the place for loot. And the ending is absolutely incredible :D. Not a single moment I expected Bantar to be still alive. The cloning machine is a lovely surprising touch. And then those remarks Bantar shouts at me. Eyeball!, lol :laff:
For me Guilded Rivaly outdoes Mines of Margroth in nearly every aspects, and provides a far better gameplay experience. The ambient music is once again top notch and well chosen, there's a solid balance between diffuclty and challenge, it features lovely sceneries, filled with custom content and effect that makes you wonder if it's actually a 2002 FM you're playing, and a stunning action-packed conclusion. It has been a while since I've been so flabbergasted by a FM. YcatX, seriously, very well done :thumb::thumb:. About that Hammerite Atlas btw, in Bantar's lab. Does it display the entire world you intended to create? It impressed me just as much as the wall chart in Rocksbourg 3. Sadly another brilliant campaign that we probably never get to play in it's entire glory. Neverthesless, nothing but respect for this mission pack!!
Can't wait to start RoO 3: Fire and Ice. Lots of burricks so I read :cheeky:.

GR is a superb effort to be sure but with one flaw that many FM's fall prey to. Too many locked doors! The "dorms" area was very tedious because of this.

I got 6 out of 10 deity talismans. Where do I find the rest of them?

You find them in the rooms of the appropriate god or goddess (the symbol on the door should identify the appropriate deity), just like the others. I used to call these rooms the "god rooms" while the walkthru refers to this part of the map as "training halls". Some of the "god rooms" will only be open after you have used four elemental talismans in the northern part of the Thieves' Guild. The "Conversation" and "Finishind touches" sections of the walkthru tell you how to enter the guild, while "Blackout" and "Freedom" deal with getting the deity talismans and using them.
