On the other hand, both Biden and Victoria Nuland stated months ago that if Russia invaded Ukraine, NordStream 2 pipeline was going to be toast.
It's another pipeline ,that one. Not the one with the leaks

A US submarine could go anywhere, or someone could have inserted divers to place explosive charges. And Russia has no reason to "sneakily" blow it up since they know The Global American Empire will put the blame on Russia anyway.

OK, you're not serious.
The only empire I see around is the Romanov 2.0 one. And perfectly criptoliberalist (Gazprom).

The TLDL version is that Gazprom is the one party with something to gain.
I think that is just a bonus (Russia is in sovereign default anyway - so, failing more obligations does not hit that hard). Since the pipeline was already, de facto, dead and unsalvageable anyway (reminder: "maintenance") - then injecting some market worries seems to be well worth it on its own. But, sure, the bonus is nice too.

No more passport for mobilized males and women (nurses/soldiers)

Moscow will not give out passports to Russians mobilized by the army, a government information portal said Wednesday, as fears of travel restrictions rise and tens of thousands flee the country.
"If a citizen is summoned for army service or received a summons (for mobilization), he will be refused a passport," the government website said.
It added that those who are not issued a passport will be notified how long the hold will be in place.

While USA has teachers who need to buy their own school supplies, Russia conscripts told to buy their own war supplies:

Meanwhile, conscripts are reporting being sent directly to the front lines without any training at all.
"We've been told officially that we'll go to the combat zone without training," one mobilised serviceman said in a video.
"We're off to Kherson on September 29."
...
Servicemen have been given uniforms and weapons, but told to source everything else they need themselves.
In one video, a female officer tells new recruits they are only being supplied their uniforms and armour.
"Take sleeping bags with you. You will have to sleep where you have to," she said.
"All this applies to medicine, diarrhoea tablets, hydrogen peroxide tourniquets. I don't have enough tourniquets for you."
When she was told by a soldier that pharmacies are out of tourniquets, she told them to find some in car first aid kits.
She then told them to buy tampons and pads to use to absorb the blood from bullet wounds.

It's true. We equip our soldiers and law enforcement well. I notice whenever our contract with the local patrolman's association is up, the union has an easy time getting most of its wish list because nobody wants to be seen as not supporting the police. But when the teachers' contract is up, the only people sticking up for them are the parents of students in the public schools. And not even all of them, because of politicization.
Also, there's been an explosion of right wing activist groups around here. We've got libertarians. We've got Christian fundamentalists, QAnon believers, preppers. We've got "normal" people who I never expected to find so deep down the culture war rabbit hole. In recent years, these groups have been getting into town and state offices. None of them like public education.
Meanwhile, we're getting into Russian math, so maybe they've got something on us there.

https://www.odditycentral.com/news/russians-are-trolling-europeans-by-streaming-gas-burning-24-7-on-twitch.html) Hope these guys get conscripted
Quote:
Russian trolls have come up with a new way of triggering Europeans dealing with inflated gas prices – broadcasting cheap Russian gas burning 24/7 on video streaming platforms like Twitch.
It all started on September 11, when a new Twitch channel aptly named “russiangas1” started broadcasting. The premise was simple – a phone aimed at a stove top with all four burners turned on broadcasting gas being burned 24/7. And if that wasn’t enough, the streamer decided it would be a good idea to show just how cheap burning all that gas would be for them – 1.44 euros per month ($1.35) – at a time when gas prices in Europe are higher than they’ve ever been. A thermometer constantly showed the audience how nice and warm it was in the room, and a digital clock showed that the video was live and not on a loop.
For the first three days, the russiangas1 Twitch channel had no viewers at all, but then someone found it, spread the word and by September 17, it had already gone viral, getting mixed reactions from the general public. However, its fame would turn out to be its downfall, as on the morning of September 21, the channel had already become inaccessible, apparently as a result of a Twitch ban.
Apparently, Twitch considered the content “
inflammatory” (
pun intended?), and that the broadcast was intended as a provocation to show how cheap gas is in Russia at a time when most Europeans are still trying to figure out how they’ll stay warm this winter.
But it turns out that russiangas1 was only the start of this troll operation. After its ban, at least two other Twitch channels broadcasting the exact same thing appeared on Twitch, and they have yet to be banned by the streaming platform. And even if they do, the cat’s out of the bag now, other channels will probably take their place.

What kind of dialogue can be conducted with our worlds, if you are attributed even so diversion to Russia?
What a taunt to hear this, realizing that our
barons will strangle themselves for a penny
(two explosions occurred on the working branch)
You are stupid zombies who unconditionally believe their TV like our pensioners to our russian federal media.
And this is intellectual forum dedicated to
not-for-all Game. :tsktsk:

Within the Russian world, dialogue unfortunately has a very different meaning -- it's critics of the regime being jailed and murdered, it's people being assaulted on the street for not speaking Russian, it's protestors being beaten in a police station while being told they have no rights and there are no laws, it's Russia's neighbours having their cities bombed to rubble and their civilians executed in areas under Russian control. Tell me, what dialogue would we want to have with a state like this, a state that is brutal, cruel and uncompromisingly so?
