(Didn't know if I should make a new thread or not!)
So I finally got past Masks (thanks!) and now I'm at the Soulforge. One of the objectives is to not let Karras find out what you're up to. This seems kind of abstract, so before I wander aimlessly for a few hours trying to finish this mission, is there any real trigger for failing this objective?
I'm afraid I'll do something and save only to face a failed mission because I did something wrong. Is there a time limit? Does he get suspicious if I flip too many towers?

Yep. It's just there to create tension. Garrett himself will let you off the hook after awhile.

You can even visit Karras and say hello to him through the protective glass without failing the objective. ;)

I thought he might figure me out if the security cameras caught me too many times, or if I destroyed too many combat bots (if that were true I would have failed the mission early on)
This is such a huge level, built to rival the last level of Thief I I suppose!

O.o This I have never heard of! *investigates* I will go make that, not like I don't have enough combat bots lying around.
EDIT: FRUSTRATION! I can't seem to get this thing to work. No matter how I throw or drop the metal plate into the slot, the plate doesn't disappear and the boiler just shows up in the other end of the machine.

Make sure your patched to 1.18. Then drop them in top one at a time and press the button. The scroll should appear after the last one is put in and the button pressed. When I had this problem it was because I didn't have the 1.18 patch. Hope this helps! :angel::thumb:
