I don't personally know ffox, and with sad honesty I must say that, despite his name being familiar, I can't seem to recall.
Perhaps I have read one of his walkthroughs for some classic big fan mission? I swear I saw his nickname "ffox" somewhere many times, he was like a Master Thief, right there to help you out, even if you may never notice him because, you know? Duh, he's a master of stealth!
I'm sad he's gone, it's always sad to see another Thief Veteran go...May The Builder bless him just like he did in life.

Wow, been gone for 4 months moving and I return to find another one of our beloved community members has passed away.

1While I am almost never active on this forum, my father (bbb) conversed with him for the last several decades and considered him a very close friend in the community. My father passed away last October (2021), and ffox was the one whom informed the forum of his pasting (via (

Jenny, my deepest condolences to you and your family, and to the community, let this serve as a reminder that what has been built here over the last two+ decades is something to never take for granted.

I too am saddened by this, and I haven't been very active at all for quite a while now.
This is quite a unique place, seeing as how it's been around so long, more than 2 decades now. Sadly, it's bound to happen eventually, but that doesn't make it any easier. :-(

I just saw this sad news...
He beta tested many of my missions. We sometimes butt heads, but he definitely made my missions better, and I am grateful to him for that.
