Its not that hard to get better bread, all you have to do is venture beyond the box-mart grocery stores. Even whole foods has some decent( how good depends on the local staff) breads at reasonable prices.
It`s hard as hell. Especially that the (
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-13670278) fakery is so widespread . Dunno about Whole Foods, might be in on it, same as some of these fucking hipster "artisan" bakeries that are popping all over London. The fact that there is a vintage bike with a basket and the loaf costs 5 quid doesn`t mean it`s made proper way.
Sure, you can still probably find it somewhere - but it`s not some outlandish delicacy, it`s
bread goddamit. Wonder what Ol`Jesus would say bout this subject :/

I don't doubt that quite a few them are, but even so that bread is still vastly superior to the white paste-crap that you find in the big box store brands. The only use supermarket "bread" has is making grilled cheese.

But this is a thread about sandwiches, not putting carrots between buns

The faggotism is this thread is so excessive and ubiqitous(with dextwarward being, surprisingly, the sole exception) that it may as well be about putting your "carrots" between other people's "buns" anyway.

Your broad generalisation wounds me sir. Wounds me.

How did a thread about sandwiches manage to get so fagged up so quickly?
AR Master on 21/7/2011 at 13:15
you posted in it

Vernon hardly initiated the fagging. That honor goes even to the very first reply.
