my game keeps crashing upon the loading of mission 7, when you go from orlunds office to the bigger keeper place. i have uninstalled twice and reinstalled. crash. :p i have defragged. crash. :eww: i have tried an OLD save game. i tried someone ELSES savegame that was at the identical point. all crashed. :tsktsk:
i tried to QS then load but still crashes. :(
so...does anyone have a savegame that is at the beginning of mission 7, or could you make one? i need it to be IN the mission already. i think maybe it is the cutscene or something that is causing the crash.
I would appreciate it. :D

is EAX on? Have you tried turning that off in the game?

i downloaded mr wynd's files. but his save just before mission 7 crashes, and his NEXT save is AFTER mission 8.
i do not have eax on.
in fact, to try and pass the crash point, i lowered everything to super low. still crashed.

I have the same exact problem. However, another forum member sent me a save file for a point just after the start of level 7 and it still didn't help. I also tried pretty much every obvious technical fix I could, including limiting affinity for all of TDS' executables to one processor, updating all drivers, updating the motherboard bios, turning off all other applications running, changing the program options (bloom off, etc.), and reinstalling. My machine specs far exceed TDS' requirements, also.
Looks like there's something else more seriously wrong somewhere.
