I asked this question in another post but I guess I wasn't too clear.
If I have some saved games that were saved under the patched MP version, but then I decide to go back to the single-player version (to avoid bugs I've read about), will I have any problems using those saved games? I could just try this out, I know, but I'm not worried about the immediate and obvious problems (like the saved game simply not loading). I'm wondering if there would be some more sneaky, sinister effects later on in the game from doing this flip-flop.
I guess I should also ask this: what are the problems that the patched version introduces in a regular single-player game?

There most likely won't be any problems. Back up your Save folder just incase, and the User.ini files (so you don't have to rebind all your keys and such). I said earlier to back up the Deusex.ini file, but I realize now this might not be a good idea. The multiplayer patch adds OpenGL support, which modifies the engine and it's settings (this file in question). Ignore what I said about backing up Deusex.ini
Known bugs in singleplayer with the multiplayer: (possible spoilers)
In the beginning, when you first select your skills, your choices aren't saved. You'll have to reselect everything (minor, but annoying).
In the mission where you have to re-allign the satelites at the NSF base, it may happen that your Mission Objectives never update. There have been many reports of this bug.
There may be more...I'll look into it for you.
