Currently working my way through this on game pass.
It's H.R.Giger's Myst, sort-of. It's deeply unsettling and visually stunning. Every frame is a dark ambient album cover. There's no context or explanation for any of it, which adds to the mood of slow-burn dread and disgust.
The gameplay is serviceable if standard - it's pretty much all puzzle solving of one form or another, even the combat. I've heard the game was criticised for it's poor combat, which seems to miss the point. Combat is difficult and dangerous and best avoided, and the patient and careful will find that most of it can be avoided, enemies quickly losing interest if you don't get too close or interfere with them.
I think I'm about 2/3rds of the way through - it's not a long game, but I keep having to stop and let the visceral disgust wash off for a bit.
It's also got to be the first game I've played where you can take almost any screenshot and it truly resembles a painting.

Haha, looks like we're both on the same tour of Game Pass. Tell me your next games aren't Atomic Heart and Shredder's Revenge.
Scorn is something I think I'll have some words on, but I'm taking my sweet time with it as the game itself imposes a strange sort of inertia on me - it takes me very long to get to it, and then it takes me quite a bit to get out of it. It's definitely singularly unpleasant all the time, which is no small achievement. A friend of mine was raving about it as a game that takes the idea of meaning and your expectations for understanding and chucks them in the bin, but I prefer to get my own views on something as chthonic and opaque as this, so we'll see.

I dunno why, but every time I read about Scorn, I think about corn.

Hah, Atomic Heart is certainly on my list.
So after I had crushed my third foetus into goo, I figured I'd better just plough through and finish this.
The ending was certainly... something.
I can honestly say I have never played a stranger game. Is it all some metaphor or drenched in symbolism? Or is it just artistically disgusting for the sake of it? I'm not sure. Possibly both. It's certainly memorable.
