I've never previewed any of my creations to the public, but there's always a first time. These are bird's eye views of mission 1 of a 3-part campaign that may be released in <3 months.
And yes, the player could climb a tower and see the town just like it shows. I have a run-of-the-mill video card, but can spin around with very little frame rate cost—one of the major improvements in the New Dark engine. (I decided to remove the tower, as it wouldn't fit in with anything useful.)

Looks great! I don't recall that amazing distant art in it when I looked at it, though! Looks fantastic.

Where did you get that lovely, lovely skybox!? :eek:
The level looks like some really good rooftop fun - what's the poly count for some of these views out of interest?

Wow, what a very neat daylight mission. :thumb: But how you made the rocks around the town? :)

The rocks are objects not terrain brushes.

Like I said, the player won't be able to see the entire town as shown, but to answer the questions:
* Poly Count: 3200 max (whole town in view)
*
* Near Mountain Objects were made by Greenhorn.
*
* The skybox is the work of Emil Persson, aka Humus. ((
http://www.humus.name)) Most of it won't be seen by the player until they get up on the roofs.
*
* The campaign will be an escape/rooftop for parts 1 & 2.
*
And while I'm at it, are their any translators out there who feel frisky?

Added an interior screenshot to show some of the detail I'm putting into this thing.
