Beautiful, as always! Every mission you make just keeps getting better and better! You know where to write if you need a betatester for any of these! :cheeky:

Sluggs:
Indeed, pillars in the TIC 2 & 3 screens are brushes. BUT, those from the UNTITLED mission are objects : I mean those from the Crypt, the church and the 2 statues-fountain screenshots are objects. I had no choice for that latter mission since I was hitting the cell limit and the mission wouldn't fully optimise. Replacing brushes with objects even allowed me to make the mission bigger. Hence the objects!! Count on me to also turn the pillars in TIC into objects as well. BTW, I also replaced all my window trims (3-4 brushes) by 1 object, which also contributed greatly to diminish the cell count.
Slipnit? maybe yes, but probably no for most of it since those screens are taken from work that have begun 2 years ago, even though some are recent too. But I must admit that I admire this guy's work. I think He shows the way.
Yandros :
What are you talking about you taffer? work, work, work!! ;)

. . .Have you been inspired by SlipTip's mission?
I think it should be the other way around Sluggs - TiC was amazing! The architecture blew me away. I'm really looking forward to seeing this one!
I think people were using "wedge arches" long before me so I hope it's not percieved that I have the patent on them!

It looks beautiful !! Looks like ROFB and Sliptip are the guys who are raising the bar.

Slipnit :
Thanks for your good words ;)
BTW, they're not wedges, but 10-sides cylindres created with the 'water_evaporate_water2solid' technique. Wedges are too much demanding regarding the brush count and I need every single brush!!! But then, with this cylindre technique, I'm also limited in creating solely circular arches (not elliptic). Maybe after the alpha stage, if I have enough brushes loose, I'll use the wedge technique to add more variety.
Don't forget that the use of objects diminishes the brush and the cell count allowing you to create bigger beautiful missions... and yes, you are inspiring :thumb:

You can make ellipses. You use the exact same technique, except that you have to swap the depth and width of one of the cylinders (usually the second one).
Edit: but let's not get technical here! The screenshots still look good :thumb:

Very interesting. I have been experimenting with objects to create better/more complicated architecture and apparently it seems to be a good way to.
