I see, thanks for clarifying.
Right, so if someone doesn't get a reference to some obscure internet gaming culture meme they aren't much of a gamer? What a stupid non-argument.
Hoohoo, this guy's opinion is invalid because they don't have sufficient street cred!!!!11 Oh grow up.

I'm just saying, it's a bit of a stupid criticism. Stop putting words in my mouth fucktards. Its also hardly obscure. It was joked TO DEATH when Sunshine came out. How could you not have heard it? That like saying you've never heard anyone say "The cake is a lie!!!!1" by now.
He's a bit tarded. But most reviewers/critics are.

Er, I've never heard of it.

Fair enough that it's a criticism based on some cultural ignorance, but to write off an entire review and the writer's credibility based on one minor note is not only very stupid, but entirely juvenile.
Could you try this? Put aside your obvious fanboyish slobbering of this game for and attempt to constructively address the rest of criticisms levelled against game in that paragraph which Briareos quoted.
I had never heard of this "shine get" meme either. Gamecube was a niche platform, especially so in the European and Australasian markets which Nintendo treat like red headed stepchildren (Eg a heavy lack of advertising, the often greatly exaggerated delays in release dates of games, etc). Mario might be a juggernaut of franchise, but it still doesn't mean that everyone's going to care and/or follow the coverage of a Mario title, especially a guy who's written predominantly for UK PC gaming publications. In predominantly PC gaming communities I seriously doubt you'd often hear the invoking of memes spun off from the foreign language version of a game for an unpopular console platform.

If you bothered to read the thread, you'd know I agree with the sloppy controls. And again, I never said the entire review is worthless. You're just being a bit of an assuming tard.
You might want to get that knee looked at. It's got some serious jerking problems.

Most people here have serious jerking problems. Your point?

Shortly after summoning Cthulhu to take care of some pesky thieves I conjured a black hole to suck up some piranhas. This didn't work out so well so I busted out with a teleporter, ending up first on some alien landscape before arriving at 5th Cell dev headquarters which was undergoing some sort of zombie infestation...until I prayed for God's aid and he smote them.

Making shit up is not advised.
