Dear taffers
As most of you know, I maintain the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109278) List of Upcoming Fanmissions, a thread that shows the fm's that are in development for any of the three thief games.
Many of the missions mentioned there are no longer being worked on.
Authors have abandoned their mission or simply stopped working on it. They remain in the list because there is a chance they return to it at a later time, or someone else adopts them.
But there are authors of which we know nothing. At least I don't.
Is a certain mission still alive, or was it deleted years ago? I'd like to have clarity about what to do with the information in the thread.
I managed to contact several of them for information about their mission(s), except for the following dromEders.
For those i'd like to aks the community for help.

Are there people who know what happened with these authors and his/her never released mission(s) ?
Perhaps those who posted in an announcement thread at the time, or helped the author with several aspects of design, are still around and can tell us anything. Any information can be posted in this thread.
Some of these authors still have a working email adress in their profile, so I also encourage everyone who likes to see a certain mission finished, to contact them.
Those who like to know more about these authors and their missions (like links to any posted screens and latest news) can find it in the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109278) List of Upcoming Fanmissions at the top of the Fan Missions forum.
Hopefully this will reveal wether or not an author ever returns to release his work.
Thanks in advance for any help.
PS: This list will be updated every now and then if there's news.

I last heard from Polygon in November 2005, but he hasn't responded to any emails from me or Moghedian since then. She and I, with much help from Peter Smith, are still working to finish DCE one day, although it's currently on the back burner. But with all the work that's gone into it already over the last 5 years, plus a complete overhaul of the story which the three of us did earlier this year, I'm not about to let it go unreleased now. It should come out sometime next year... I plan to turn back to it as soon as Deceptive Perception 2 is complete (voicework is being done for it now).

I was pretty surprised to see that Rob Hicks has been AWOL for over a year. Was really hoping that Dark Metal would get released, hopefully he passed his work on to someone else...?

There was some news in (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1538409#post1538409) this post, from last year.
He could be still in China and unable to work with dromEd there.
Those with some free time: Rob was looking for Dark Metal assistance and it might encourage him when more people reply in his thread (see link).

Can you send me via PM the email address to which he responded in June 06? It's probably the same one I had been using. I had an alternate which I tried earlier this year; it didn't bounce, but I got no response.

He did! I'm not mentioning any names, but a certain taffer was helping him, but until it's finished, it can't be released!

It's nice to see I'm not the only one who takes on finishing others' projects and then takes years to get around to it! :laff: :tsktsk:
That reminds me, I need to get my own unfinished crap into the abandoned archive... including Curse of the Carnival I guess...

Bump.
Tried to get in touch with Polygon last month, but both email adresses are down. A google search for more information was also unsuccesful.
Guess there's nothing left to do then wait until he shows up again (if that ever happens).
Any people who managed to reach other dromEders in the list by email, PM, ICQ or IRC?
