I would say that it's incredible to see the Thief game so much alive after so many years. The community seems smaller, but the old-timers are still there.
I come back to Thief here and there, have some breaks, but it's always Thief and it will remain Thief - one of the best game series I've ever got involved with.
Personally, I just don't have time to design. I can hardly catch up with playing current FMs. I would love to come back and release some FM, but today it simply seems unrealistic. I had big plans for another FM and these plans remain in my mind.

Ok I'll add another name to this item: Sirtommyboo/alias: Tomi: an FM maker from Finland. He made the mission Profance Ascension, which I find a TOP Thief mission!
I really hope he'll make us another FM, but I know he is really busy studying.
I didn't forget him, I just need to contact him

Something new to report regarding one of our missing authors, Metalhead.
From several Thief sources I've gathered some important information (first/surname, year of birth, location) regarding him, and searching the web with it brought me to these sites:
(
http://www.mylife.com/people-search/)
(
http://www.intelius.com/)
I found profiles on Intelius and Mylife that matches all info of him. (Sur)name is correct, age as well, and this person lived in one of the cities mentioned in his (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/member.php?u=8629) profile (Phoenix, Arizona).
Problem is that I need registration to view his full profile and get his email.
Now my question is: is there someone around who has an account for one of the above sites, or a similar people-search site ?
If so then please let me know. It would be great to get in touch with a famous dromedder from the old days :).

Yandros provided me with a lead for another missing author.
Unfortunately no respons yet regarding my earlier question. If there's anyone who has an account on Intelius, mylife or similar site, or can recommend an alternative place to ask this, I hope to hear.

Well, I found another author through (
http://www.mylife.com/people-search/) www.mylife.com, Mazur, maker of Durant.
I have reason to believe that he can be contacted through Facebook as well.
If there's someone with a Facebook account who would like to help getting in touch with him, please let me know.

You guys are being really creepy.

The folks that are long gone are probably that way for good reason - and I don't really see what going so far as to do a background check on someone is going to positively impact. "How did you find me?!" is probably going to be the first question, and that'll be a bit embarrassing to explain. If they can't be contacted by email or instant message it's probably better to let them live their life and not hunt them down like a bounty for a computer game they played years ago :laff:
