Many years ago I wrote to Mazur. I was just a player at those times, I didnt know about the forums and I needed help for Durant, since I didn't understand a damn thing of what the ghost said and I didn't know what to do.
He was very kind and helped me to finish the mission. He also said that he was going to quit with Dromed, because it was too much life sucking, and he wanted to dedicate his time to real life. Well, more or less. :)

What happened to Ycatx? I'd love to see his Ruins of Originia campaign finished :D

YcatX will be out of the picture for awhile. He lost about 5 years worth of work recently. Sorry to say, his ex-wife was also killed this year, so yeah, he's got a lot to deal with right now. :(

Well, I can understand this all seems like checking someone's background, but it's sole purpose is to acquire a working e-mail and say hi.
I've contacted many ex-authors before and most were pleasantly surprised to hear a voice from the Thief community, and that people are still playing their work.
Not once they asked me "how did you find me". They were often just too busy with real-life to frequent this forum, forget to update their contact info etc.
Some even returned to the Thief scene afterwards.
So personally I disagree with the opinion of "Oh, no way of getting in touch with them, let them be".
Lady Rowena: thanks for sharing :), that explains his absence.
If there's a facebook member who is interested in helping out, do get in touch with me.
